It is important to be comfortable when you are traveling. It is hard to sit on an airplane for many hours, especially if you have children, so it is important to make the journey as pleasant as possible.
We have put together a list of 3 essential things to bring on your travels.
Neck Pillow
If you have never used a neck travel pillow on your flights, you are missing out. Many people do not realize that this is precisely what you need during your plane right. You can find a few different types of the neck pillows in our Duty-Free shop; if you want it to take as little space as possible, we have a type that you blow up and then just take the air out and stuff it in your bag. If you do not need the hassle of spending time blowing up your pillow, we also have regular ones with different types of filling and firmness.
Water
The Icelandic water is renowned for being one of the best in the world with its fresh and crisp taste and bringing a bottle or two on the flight is a good idea. A few airlines expect people to pay for the water and by having your water bottle means you do not need to wait for the steward to help you. The air on airplanes is notoriously dry, so it is important to be able to dehydrate when you need.
Something for the children
Long flights can test both parents and children’s patience. So, having something to distract them from the time spent on the airplane is a good idea. The Duty-Free shop has many toys for sale, from LEGO to Playmobil, to My Little Pony, to superheroes, to activity books. A LEGO set is a great way to spend the time, and both parents and children can enjoy their time together in the small space the airplanes give us.
